Sunday School

Ms. Betty-Jeanne’s Classroom
Pre-School and Kindergarten

The Education Committee works with the Vestry and Priests of Epiphany to provide age-appropriate Christian formation programs in support of the parish mission to grow a powerful, humble, intergenerational faith community in the Anglican tradition.
Theme for the 2009-2010 Sunday School Year: “With the fruits of the Spirit we blossom and flourish.”
We are responsible for programs directed at children, youth, and families, such as: Fall Sunday School Kick-off, Parents' Morning Out in December, Christmas Eve Pageant, Easter Egg Hunt, Mother's Day Flower Distribution, End-of-the-Year Pool Party in June, and Vacation Bible School in the summer.
Sunday School begins 30 minutes prior to the 10:00 a.m. service and continues until children are brought into the sanctuary to participate in Communion and receive the Holy Eucharist. Preschool and Kindergarteners return to class, but 1st through 5th graders stay in church with their families for the duration of the service.
